Life in Fear
“When eerie things go bump in the night…”
Fight or flight response kicks in but with flight bias.
Courage couldn’t find a fucking foot stool sturdy enough even after enlisting the touch of Midas.
Nerves clique faster than light pipes, screaming “Why Us!?” Huddling in extensive fear clamming like pliers.
Someone’s urinary tract is overriding the authoritative no, pissing on self.
The shakes manifest, phobia is a killer,
Instability develops, panic ensues,
They’re beginning a never ending divide.
The ride certainly isn’t so pleasant anymore even for the higher society; non-peasants.
The mind shuts down and the sounds amplify,
Transforming the average human into a survivalist professional.
